North Shore, Diptych

Two sheets, one horizon

Two large prints side by side with a narrow gap between them, together forming one continuous reduced four-colour landscape — a long grey shoreline running unbroken across both sheets under a flat pale sky — in Payne's grey, bone, pale sand and deep indigo on matte cotton rag, each sheet with a wide blank margin and a deckled bottom edge.
